Homework for Tonight

We viewed a PowerPoint on nationalism and militarism and students discussed what these words mean to them and gave examples of these in their lives and throughout history.

Then students played Roundup, a bullying activity, as they read scenarios of bullying situations at school. They shared examples of similar situations they may have been in or know someone else who had. Students then used the 4 anti-bullying rules to come up with/roleplay strategies on how to deal with these situations. We will continue this activity tomorrow, especially as Period 6 was shortened for our Performing Arts program.

Students really enjoyed listening to and participating in music presented from Australia, Latin America, and Europe. Parents, ask your child for details!!

Study the countries and capitals of Europe, Russia, and Independent Republics; practice on Sheppard Software and study your map!!
Remember, this test is the Wed after Thanksgiving!
